There are many beautiful ways to prepare vegetables, but do you know what you are looking for when you buy them? This virtual event, “Greens and Beans Keep You Lean,” will go over the selection, buying, and preparation of vegetables so that you get more of these much-needed nutrients in your meals. The event is sponsored by the Amityville Public Library in connection with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County. The event is open to anyone and great for budding chefs of all ages.
